Good Shepherd Church
the Anglican Center in Gambella provides a church, community library, guest house, staff offices, canteen, basketball court, two football fields, and an agriculture area. The Anglican Center has seen success uniting people through sports and shared education. Typically, children who come due to its sports facilities end up using the library as well. This strategy has proven successful as recent high school graduates accredit their success to the library. Despite this success, the needs of the community greatly outweigh the existing facilities. Using lessons learned from the past, and meeting the needs of the future, it is the vision of the Anglican Center in Ethiopia (ACE) to unify people and overcome tribal conflicts.
IDD helped the Anglican Center by providing phase 1 drawings that include: Site Architectural Master Plan, Water distribution and Wastewater collection as well as design drawings for the buildings on the site.
