Chapel and Parsonage Improvements
Casablanca, Morocco
In the 1920's, Sudan United Mission merged with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) in Chad to partner with the Evangelical Church of Chad, Chad's oldest, largest denomination, which has roughly 1,800 churches. TEAM has since been involved in many areas of ministry throughout the country including medical missions, women's ministry, and others.
TEAM missionaries serve in the bush, the desert, and the lake region in villages, cities and oases. Those who are not permanently located in their area of ministry have a need for temporary housing in order to minister to nomadic tribes and remote peoples. TEAM’s remote area ministry in the north is growing, which heightens the already present need of station expansion so that TEAM can support the missionaries who minister to nomadic and desert peoples and need a place to stay in N'Djamena. There is also a need for a functional office space for administrators and an assembly hall. In 2013 IDD designed a two-story dual-function administrative building and guest-house, which provides six guest house accommodations of varying sizes with flexible configurations, functional office space and a large assembly hall. Construction of the new building along with other site improvements were completed in 2016. |
